TWA Air Cooled Packaged Water Chillers 185 - 1629 kW

CONSTRUCTION
Galvanised steel frame, etched and polyester powder coated. All panels are easily removable for service and maintenance.

COMPRESSORS
S/Z/P versions are fitted with high efficiency hermetic scroll compressors. V V models have semi hermetic screw compressors and acoustically lined compressor housings.

EVAPORATORS
S/Z/P units have stainless steel, dual circuit plate evaporators. V V models have shell and tube evaporators.

REFRIGERANTS
All low temperature units below -10°C to -40°C operate on R404A

FANS
Direct driven axial fans with safety guard. Fan speed control option for low ambient and outdoor use.

CONDENSER

Copper tube, aluminum fins construction. The circuit Is arranged to achieve approximately 5K - sub cooling. Copper/copper and vinyl coated options available.

REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT

Each unit comes complete with two independent circuits so that in the unlikely event of a circuit ceasing to operate 50% output is maintained. Each circuit is fitted with liquid line shut off valve, compressor suction and discharge valves, liquid line filter/drier and externally equalised expansion valve.

SAFETY DEVICES

High and low refrigerant pressure switches, oil differential pressure switch, flow switch and freeze thermostat. All types of pressure and temperature gauges available upon request.

ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT

Interlocking mains isolator, fuses, overload protection and contactors. Full microprocessor control including hour run and full fault diagnostic compressor rotation as standard. Volt free relays or serial line interface available upon request.

WATER CIRCUIT

S/Z/P versions can be fitted with integrally mounted process pumps. On V V models internal buffer tanks and duplex pumps can also be supplied with pressures up to 10 Bar.

HEAT RECOVERY

Partial or total heat recovery is available with water temperatures as high as 50°C. This can be used for the heating of pre-boiler water or as wash down water in manufacturing processes
